Flair Airlines is currently seeking a permanent, full-time
SOCC Supervisor to join our growing and ever-changing organization.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Systems Operations Control Centre (SOCC), & Planning, the SOCC Supervisor will be responsible for providing leadership and authority during daily operations within SOCC to support Duty Officers, and Operations Coordinators in decision-making and knowledge to meet Transport Canada regulations and compliance.

The SOCC Supervisor will also be working alongside the SOCC Crew Schedulers in the daily environment of Flight Operations and oversee all supervisory tasks as assigned by the Senior Manager SOCC & Planning.


Primary Job Functions:


The duties of the
SOCC Supervisor include:


  • Responsible for maintaining oversight on the day of operations and providing direction to the Duty Officer when required, and representing SOCC in required meetings as per SOCC Senior Manager directive
  • Responsible for the review of delay coding on a weekly basis
  • Review and participate with key stakeholders of Historic Slot performance
  • Ensure all software is updated with proper aircraft schedule followed by tail assignments and coordination of MTC assignments
  • Assisting with the coordination of delivery flights and EIS plans
  • Responsible for the delivery and upkeep of the inhouse training program, as well as training records for internal QA and external TC audits
  • Liaise with external departments to ensure the OCC standards, procedures, and training programs are aligned with other business units and comply with all regulatory requirements
  • Support Sr Manager in SOP Manual ongoing development, regular upkeep, and compliance
  • Support Sr Manager in IROP washout meetings, tracking and following up on action items
  • Support Sr Manager in ERP investigations
  • Assist in compliance with Transport Canada regulations by performing regular system and employee checks
  • Assist in compliance with CTA APPR Compliance, attend meetings on behalf of SOCC, and investigation
  • Assist with improvements in Operational Control Center compliance using due diligence practices
  • Completing reports as required and assigned, ensuring the accuracy of department KPIs
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection of Operations Coordinators and Duty Officers
  • Support Sr Manager in providing coaching, mentoring, and feedback to staff
  • Build Monthly staff schedules for review by Sr Manager
  • Performing other duties and assignments, as required

Safety Duties, Accountabilities, Authorities, and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Safety Management System (SMS) program through participation and reporting

Qualifications and Education Requirements:


  • A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of Airline experience
  • A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a supervisory/managerial role
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) is essential.
  • Previous Airline Operations Centre or Airport Operations experience is an asset.
  • A clear criminal record check
