Description

We are seeking an experienced and talented Line Cook to join our fine dining restaurant. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking exquisite dishes with precision and attention to detail. You will work alongside a team of skilled chefs to ensure that our guests have an exceptional dining experience.

Competitive hourly wage based on experience $ $28.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items according to the restaurant's standards and recipes book.
Follow proper plating techniques to present dishes in an appealing and artistic manner.
Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc).
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
Monitor food inventory and communicate any shortages or quality issues to the chef.
Keep a sanitized and orderly work environment in the kitchen
Ensure that all dishes are prepared and served on time, meeting the high-quality standards of the restaurant.
Uphold a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

2+ years previous experience as a Line Cook in a fine dining, steakhouse orupscale restaurant.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and a passion for creating exceptional dishes.
Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate efficiently under pressure.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high culinary standards.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Able to work in a standing position for duration of shift
Flexibleto work various shifts that may include but is not limited to weekends, overnights,evenings and holidays as required.
Must be fluent in English or French
Must be a Canadian resident or have a valid work visa

Nous recherchons un Chef de Partie expérimenté et talentueux pour rejoindre notre restaurant gastronomique. En tant que Chef de Partie, vous serez responsable de la préparation et de la cuisson de plats exquis avec précision et souci du détail. Vous travaillerez aux côtés d'une équipe de chefs qualifiés pour garantir à nos clients une expérience gastronomique exceptionnelle.

Responsabilités :

Préparer et cuisiner les plats du menu conformément aux normes du restaurant et au livre de recettes.
Suivre les techniques appropriées de dressage pour présenter les plats de manière attrayante et artistique.
Préparer les ingrédients nécessaires à la cuisson (éplucher et couper les légumes, découper la viande, etc.).
Maintenir un poste de travail propre et organisé, en respectant les normes de sécurité alimentaire et d'hygiène.
Surveiller les stocks alimentaires et communiquer au chef toute pénurie ou problème de qualité.
Maintenir un environnement de travail propre et ordonné dans la cuisine.
Veiller à ce que tous les plats soient préparés et servis à temps, en respectant les normes de haute qualité du restaurant.
Adopter une attitude positive et professionnelle tout en travaillant dans un environnement au rythme soutenu.

Exigences :

2+ années d'expérience antérieure en tant que Chef de Partie dans un restaurant gastronomique, une brasserie ou un restaurant haut de gamme.
Solides connaissances des techniques culinaires et passion pour la création de plats exceptionnels.
Capacité à travailler efficacement en équipe et à communiquer efficacement sous pression.
Excellentes compétences en gestion du temps et en organisation.
Souci du détail et engagement à maintenir des normes culinaires élevées.
Connaissance des réglementations en matière de sécurité alimentaire et d'hygiène.
Capacité à travailler debout pendant toute la durée du service.
Disponibilité flexible pour travailler différents horaires, y compris les week-ends, les nuits, les soirées et les jours fériés, au besoin.
Maîtrise de l'anglais ou du français.
Être résident canadien ou posséder un visa de travail valide.
