    AECOM is searching for a Civil Engineer to be based in our Burnaby, BC office for our Water and Wastewater conveyance group.

    The successful candidate will have a solid understanding and significant experience in civil engineering, civil technology, design and construction of municipal infrastructure and is familiar with hydraulic modelling and planning principles.

    They will be expected to work successfully within a team environment and be able to communicate effectively with other project team members and customers.

    The successful candidate will be expected to support in the delivery of infrastructure to customers mostly within the municipal storm water, water and wastewater sector.

    Design of civil systems associated with municipal water and/or wastewater /drainage conveyance facilities
    Prepare documentation for design projects and reports
    Preparation of project specifications and contract documents
    coordination with regulatory agencies, project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
    Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering + 6 years of relevant experience in civil engineering or municipal engineering.
    Experience with civil engineering, planning, design, construction inspection, contract administration
    Training and experience in managing municipal water and wastewater related projects
    Experience with water / wastewater / drainage conveyance infrastructure in a Municipal environment, including both gravity and pressurized systems
    Experience in proposal writing and job scoping
    Excellent written skills needed for technical reports
    Proficient with MS Office Suite
    Valid BC Class V Driver's License
    Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors and clients
