    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Job Description:

    The Avionics Systems Engineer and Designer will be heavily focusing on the electrical design of engineering documents for new and existing planes. This person will be working on whole scale projects and job-scopes from initial design/engineering, review, certification and implementation of such systems. As these projects are both refurbishment/retrofitting, as well as brand new/from scratch designs, this person will need to have sound knowledge of aerospace, avionic systems as well as transportation planes.

    MUST HAVES:

    3-6+ Years designing avionics systems.

    3-6+ Years designing aircraft communications systems such as, navigation, pulse (Mode S, TCAS, Weather Radar), flight director and autopilot systems

    3-6+ years of experience writing Engineering Orders.

    Experience working with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.)

    Experience reviewing and creating manuals for installation design and output.

    Good technical writing skills. (Consultants will need to write an order with an accurate sequence of tasks for maintenance and technicians to be able to properly implement everything together.

    NICE TO HAVE

    Transport Canada Certification
