- Preparing and distributing details on Banquet Event Orders (B.E.O.).
- Responding to clients requests and changes in a timely and friendly manner.
- Proactively follow up with clients and anticipate their needs.
- Planning, communicating, and coordinating details of wedding, events and meetings with the multiple clients.
- Working closely with Event Planner, Banquet Operations and Culinary team. Hand off detailed files including, but not limited to: Banquet room requirements and floor plans, function times, equipment setup and menus. Effectively communicate all changes in a timely manner.
- Working closely with Food & Beverage team and other departments to completely satisfy the requirements of the booking party.
- Overseeing the execution of events to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain positive working relationships with local vendors and partners.
- Participating in tradeshows.
- Providing administrative support to Food & Beverage Department including, but not limited to: printing menus, labels and signage.
- Conducting site inspections of the property.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar sales and events administration, service or support capacity is desirable.
- Attention to detail in a fast paced, high volume work environment is a must.
- Experience in weddings, golf events, meetings and F&B service industry is desirable.
- Flexible to ever-changing client's requirements.
- High sense of urgency and able to meet conflicting deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Must be available to work outside of traditional business hours (evenings, weekends, and holidays)
- Must be highly energetic, Self-starter and have a positive disposition.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada full-time.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with others.
- Strong communication skills with all levels of the organization.
