RÉSUMÉ DU POSTE :
Responsable de l'exploitation sécuritaire et efficace de l'entrepôt, avec pour objectif principal de recevoir et de stocker des matériaux et de compléter et expédier les commandes conformément aux horaires de livraison établis pour les clients.
TÂCHES DU POSTE :
1.0 Responsabilités managériales.
1.1 S'assurer que tous les employés de l'entrepôt sont formés à tous les aspects de la sécurité et à l'exploitation sécuritaire de l'équipement.
1.2 Effectuer des entretiens d'embauches et initier le traitement des nouvelles embauches ou des remplacements pour l'entrepôt selon les besoins.
1.3 S'assurer que tous les employés de l'entrepôt travaillent selon les directives et procédures établies.
1.4 S'assurer que toutes les procédures ISO9002 sont respectées par les employés de l'entrepôt.
1.5 En cas d'accidents, remplir toute la documentation requise et développer des mesures correctives.
1.6 S'assurer que tout l'équipement est correctement entretenu et que les réparations sont effectuées rapidement.
1.7 Effectuer et/ou aider à effectuer les évaluations de performance de tous les employés de l'entrepôt.
1.8 Mettre en œuvre des mesures correctives liées aux problèmes disciplinaires.
2.0 Coordonner les activités quotidiennes du personnel de l'entrepôt.
2.1 Planifier les quarts de travail pour tout le personnel de l'entrepôt.
2.2 S'assurer qu'au début de chaque quart de travail, tout le personnel est présent et que tous les postes de travail sont correctement pourvus.
2.3 Organiser des procédures de secours pour tous les postes de l'entrepôt.
2.3 S'assurer que les bordereaux d'expédition ont été imprimés et distribués par le commis d'entrepôt.
2.4 S'assurer que les commandes ont été priorisées et que les commandes urgentes sont identifiées.
3.0 S'assurer que les commandes complétées sont expédiées aux clients et aux autres succursales.
3.1 Coordination de l'expédition des commandes pour respecter les engagements de livraison envers les clients.
3.2 Négocier le prix et l'horaire de livraison lors de l'utilisation d'un transporteur commun.
4.0 Coordonner la réception des matériaux entrants.
4.1 S'assurer que l'horaire de réception a été organisé par le commis d'entrepôt.
4.2 S'assurer que la zone de réception est préparée pour recevoir les envois entrants.
4.3 S'assurer que les données de réception sont saisies dans le système informatique et que les matériaux sont stockés correctement.
4.4 Informer le service des réclamations de tout article manquant ou ne répondant pas aux spécifications de qualité.
5.0 Exploitation de l'entrepôt.
5.1 S'assurer que tout l'équipement est en bon état de fonctionnement et organiser les réparations nécessaires.
5.2 Déterminer les dangers possibles dans l'installation et organiser les mesures correctives appropriées.
5.3 Commander des fournitures générales pour l'entrepôt.
5.4 Déterminer et organiser toutes les réparations générales et l'entretien du bâtiment.
5.5 Organiser et suivre toutes les interventions d'entretien des terrains, des routes, des chemins, etc. sur le site, y compris le déneigement, la tonte de l'herbe, etc.
Toutes les tâches identifiées sont essentielles.
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Warehouse with the primary objective being to receive and store material and to complete and ship orders when scheduled for delivery to the customer.
JOB DUTIES:
Managerial responsibilities.
Ensure all warehouse employees are trained in all aspects of safety and the safe operation of equipment.
Conduct interviews and initiate the processing of new and replacement hires for the warehouse facility as required.
Ensure all warehouse employees work according to established guidelines and procedures
Ensure all ISO9002 procedures are adhered to by warehouse employees.
In the event of accidents, complete all the required documentation and develop corrective action.
Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and repairs are completed promptly.
Conduct and/or assist with performance evaluations of all warehouse employees.
Implement corrective action relating to disciplinary issues.
Co-ordinate daily activities of Warehouse Personnel.
Schedule shifts for all Warehouse Personnel.
Ensure at the beginning of each shift that all personnel have arrived and all work stations properly staffed.
Organize back-up procedures for all warehouse positions.
Ensure that Pick slips have been printed and distributed by the Warehouse Clerk.
Ensure that orders have been prioritized and rush orders identified.
Ensure completed orders shipped to customers and other branches
Coordinate the shipping of orders to meet delivery commitments to customers.
Negotiate price and delivery schedule when using a common carrier.
Co-ordinate the receiving of incoming materials.
Ensure receiving schedule has been organized by the Warehouse Clerk.
Ensure that receiving area is prepared to handle incoming shipments.
Ensure that receiving data is entered into the computer system and materials are stored correctly.
Notify claims department of any items that were short shipped or did not meet quality specifications.
Operation of Warehouse. Ensure all equipment is in sound operating order and arrange for any necessary repairs. Determine possible hazards in the facility and arrange appropriate corrective action. Order general warehouse supplies. Determine and arrange all general repairs and maintenance to the building. Arrange and follow-up on all maintenance to the grounds, roads, pathways, etc at the facility including snow removal, grass cutting and the likes.
EDUCATION PREFERRED:
College diploma.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is performed in an office and warehouse environment.
Must always be alert for moving machinery both on the ground and overhead. Must always be alert when operating equipment.
Handling material with sharp edges.
Must be able to prioritize a varied workload and have some time flexibility to ensure a tasks are completed on time.
