    Are you looking for a new challenge in the finance industry? You're in luck! We have a fantastic full-time opportunity for a Credit Manager position within the Finance department at one of our offices in Mississauga, Ontario or Montreal, Quebec. This role will involve overseeing Ariva's credit operations to ensure compliance with credit policies and standards. Check out the exciting details below:

    • Manage the Credit Team (4 direct reports) regarding Credit and Collection
    • Manage credit reviews and limits, approve new accounts and customer aging
    • Take action on past due accounts, non-performing accounts, and more
    • Support negotiations with Customers and the Sales organization regarding delinquent/slow accounts
    • Create and deliver monthly credit reports to senior management
    • Other duties include staff development, maintaining industry knowledge, and more
    • Manage Cash Application staff to ensure accuracy and timeliness

    Required Education / Certifications:

    • Credit Designation (CCP)
    • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Accounting

    Professional Experience:

    • Proven expertise in credit risk management
    • 5-8 years of experience in a Managerial role within a Credit department
    • Previous work experience in distribution industries is a plus
    • Knowledge of SAP is beneficial
    • Bilingual - French and English

    Critical Competencies:

    • Excellent analytical skills
    • Confidence in decision-making
    • Ability to collaborate and influence across different organizational levels
    • Experience in leading and managing a Credit team
    • Positive approach to problem-solving
