Reporting to the Territorial Director Health, Safety, Wellness and Disability Management, the
incumbent serves the Mission by supporting clients in the proactive management of assigned disability, absence management and accommodation claims.
This includes Workers Compensation(occupational), Non-Work-Related (non-occupational) Sick Leave and Long-Term Disability for all non-unionized and unionized employees.They will work closely with MU leaders and supervisors, acting as the primary contact for these types of claims, interfacing with external claim specialists.
Claims Process Management:
Disability Management (Occupational and Non-Occ) and Return to
Work Facilitation:
Delivers training and development sessions focused on claims and disability management.
3-5 years prior experience in disability management related to occupational and non-occupational claims, including return to work plans, appeals processes, over multiple sites.
