You will play a key role in the management of administrative operations, enabling the professionals to provide superior client service.

Our work consists of conducting investigations, climate analyses, training and other types of interventions related to respect and civility within organisations.

Our team of lawyers and professionals acts exclusively as a neutral third party. We provide bilingual services across Canada to public and private sector organizations.


Main responsibilities

  • The legal assistant will have a wide range of responsibilities, which may change over time, including:
  • Provide administrative support to Directors and Partners, including file management, drafting correspondence, preparing and formatting documents and maintaining calendars (follow-ups, reminders);
  • Participate in case management and act as a point of contact to facilitate communication and coordination between the team's professionals;
  • Communicate with clients, including parties and witnesses involved in cases, in order to coordinate meetings, while carefully monitoring deadlines;
  • Organize and electronically file documents in the Latitude database;
  • Search for documents and conduct computerized legal research using specialized databases and software (SOQUIJ, CanLII, CAIJ);
  • Ensure the security of confidential documents.
Requirements and skills

  • Minimum of one (1) year's experience in a legal assistant or similar position;
  • Attestation of Professional Specialization (ASP) in legal secretarial work, ACS in paralegal technology or DEC in paralegal technology;
  • Solid skills with the Office suite;
  • Bilingual (French and English) written and spoken;
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail;
  • Ability to multitask and work with different professionals;
  • Sense of responsibility and organisation;
  • Demonstrates a high level of discretion;
  • Team player and collaborative;
  • Positive, outgoing and flexible personality.
