Your Opportunity:


Main Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Regularly meet with our Chief Operating Officer and Executive Team to discuss Our Business Priorities for the coming year and use the goals to set new quality requirements for the year.
  • Together with our Chief Operating Officer, review reports from our Warranty & Service Team to recommend quality improvements in our customer service processes and products.
  • Together with our Chief Operating Officer, review Customer Complaint Logs from our VP of Sales and Marketing to recommend quality improvements in our customer service processes and products.
  • Confer with our Executive Team to set measurable quality requirements and levels, and regularly update the requirements as needed.
  • Report to our Executive Team on results of quality control and quality assurance checks established in our Quality Management Plan and our Process Improvement Plan.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance strategy aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Lead and mentor a team of quality professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure effective execution of quality objectives.
  • Utilize tools and techniques to perform quality processes: quality audits, process analysis, costbenefit analysis, benchmarking, design of experiments, cost of quality, brainstorming, affinity diagrams, matrix diagrams, flowcharts, priority matrices, cause and effect diagrams, control charts, histograms, Pareto charts, run charts, scatter diagrams, statistical sampling, inspection, defect repair review, process change review, and review of plans.
  • Provide leadership and strategic direction for the quality function while ensuring proper interface and communication with manufacturing, operations, program management, engineering, sales, and supply chain.
  • Establish and maintain quality control processes and procedures to monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.
  • Maintain our organization's Performance Improvement Plan to define what procedures will be carried out to ensure that our Quality Management Plan is effective and measuring the right quality requirements and levels for our Company.
  • Monitor and influence factors that promote positive attitudes toward participating in our quality improvement plans while following Company quality policies and procedures.
  • Own and manage documents on our Document System relating to our quality assurance and control policies and procedures according to our document control process.
  • Maintain familiarity with the quality standards of all customers and provides expert advice to senior managers on quality matters.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to identify and address quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance and drive accountability.
  • Monitor customer audit activities ensuring the Company is prepared and ready to meet objectives.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and ensure all expectations are being met or exceeded.
  • Manage external audits and regulatory inspections, ensuring compliance with applicable quality standards and regulations.
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective action processes to address quality deviations and prevent recurrence.
  • Develop and deliver quality training programs to ensure awareness and understanding of quality requirements across the organization.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes to proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and improvement.

You Have:


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in quality leadership roles within the manufacturing industry.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt is an asset.
  • ISO 9000 is an asset.
