#Bilingual HR Advisor, Role Accountabilities:
As an important member of the Store Human Resources team and reporting to the Regional Human Resources Business Partner, the Bilingual HR Advisor is responsible for supporting the Store Human Resources function, including all aspects of employee and labor relations, talent management, and Human Resources Best Practices.
The HR Advisor conducts regular store visits to review Store engagement and identifies any employee relations issues and escalates/resolves those issues working in partnership with the Regional Support Managers.
The HR Advisor acts as a coach to the store owners on engagement, retention, performance management talent management, and policies and procedures.
Bilingual HR Advisor,Key Qualifications:
~ Bilingualism English and French is required (expert level, conversational French skills)
~ Post Secondary education in Human Resources or related discipline; A minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR role
~ Excellent attention to detail with written work, with a proven ability to effectively communicate in a positive way with internal business units
~ Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate provincial employment law, policies, and regulations
~ Relevant experience in conducting ER investigations, including Harassment investigations and supporting MOL & Human Rights claims
~ Valid driver's license and personal vehicle
Bilingual HR Advisor, Assets:
HR designation such as CHRP or CHRL, either in progress or completed
College or University degree in business, HR, or a related subject, either in progress or completed
Strong computer skills in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Experience working in Workday
