    Striveis a CMHC approved Canadian residential mortgage lender obsessed with customer satisfaction.

    The role ofDirector, Business Development, Alberta and Prairies reports to the Vice-President, National Sales and is responsible for generating mortgage originations and servicing broker clients.

    Ensure sound knowledge of Strive mortgage products, services, and innovative technologies as well as competitor's products
    Remain up to date on Mortgage Insurance products, services, and eligibility
    Identify and build long term broker relationships, increase broker and overall portfolio originations, and continuously develop new contacts and volume sources from the broker community
    Escalating issues/obstacles/trends to Senior Management as appropriate with recommendations/solutions
    Manage within assigned budgets
    Provide industry competitive analysis, including pricing, products, and programs to the Vice President, National Sales
    Performing other duties and assist with special projects (as assigned)
    Bachelor's degree is desired, preferably in business, with a focus on Sales and/or equivalent work experience
    Minimum of two years' experience in the mortgage industry, as well as experience working with third party vendors and external partners
    Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a high aptitude for building client relationships
    Competency in Microsoft Office; CRM
