Job Summary


The People Scheduler will be responsible for coordinating all staffing for Anderson Therapy's programs and that proper resourcing is assigned to all contracts and clients.

This position will be responsible for proactively developing and maintaining employee schedules while ensuring the schedule system is current, accurate and in alignment with applicable contracts and agreements.

This position will also offer Administrative Support in the Office with flexibility for early office clients or early evening office clients.

Works in a deadline-driven environment allocating and scheduling staff in an electronic scheduling system. This role receives a large volume of communication daily which requires prompt follow-up.


This position will work closely with the Project Coordinator in assigning all staffing for all Northern Community contracts, individual contracts and office clients as well as forecasting how many therapists are needed for future agreements.


This role involves working closely with Clinical Managers, Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Office Manager and external partners to maintain a high level of staffing efficiency and effectiveness.


The People Scheduler is accountable for demonstrating experienced scheduling skills including, but not limited to: completing schedule adjustments and maintenance of schedules.

Review and analyze schedules and work with appropriate leaders to proactively identify mitigating strategies to ensure safe staffing levels are maintained.

Essential Responsibilities

Staffing Coordination and Scheduling:

  • Develop and maintain staff schedules based on contract requirements and employee availability.
  • Assign staff to contracts and shifts, considering qualifications, experience, and workload.
  • Work with Project Coordinator to ensure adequate staffing levels to meet contract requirements and operational needs.
  • Connect with Human Resources to communicate staffing requirements so the recruitment process can begin if required.
  • Review resourcing requirements on new contracts far enough in advance to properly forecast staffing needs.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum 35 years of staffing and scheduling coordination
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Excellent technical and analytical skills
  • Undergraduate degree or college diploma in business or related discipline
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
