3RD SHIFT
Oakley Industries is an automotive supplier who assembles wheels and tires for our customer. We currently have seven plants located in Canada and the United States.


Summary/Objective


The production supervisor position is responsible for supervising and providing safe work conditions for shop employees in a manufacturing and assembly environment.

This position plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.


Essential Functions

  • Adheres to all established systems and training programs to provide a safe working environment. Complies with all safety regulations and other local, state and federal government regulations.
  • Ensure effective employee relations. Provide employee coaching and development. Makes employment decisions. Resolve employee issues through problem resolution.
  • Follows established IATF 16949:2016 procedures.
  • Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. Work to continuously improve in all areas.
  • Ensure effective and efficient production operations. Provides direction in resolving production issues through problem solving and delegation.
  • Manage departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provides regular progress reports to manager.
  • Perform accident investigations.
  • Manage department priorities.
  • Track absenteeism and timekeeping.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Three to five years of related experience and/or training is preferred.
  • Must have valid driver's license to drive Oakley vehicle.
  • Computer proficiency, including MS Office is preferred.

  • 8 hour shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
