The Construction Manager will work underground in a Potash mining environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion
Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
Review the work progress on daily basis
Prepare internal and external reports about job status
Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques

The work schedule is 40 hours a week Monday to Thursday 10 hour days, this schedule might vary depending on project needs.

Salary: Open to wage negotiations based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

MUST have 5-10 years of direct experience managing major projects in an Underground Potash Environment
Experience managing Owner and Contracted Resources is required.
A Supervisor Certificate issued by the Saskatchewan Mines Branch is not required but is considered an important asset.
Are you currently eligible to work in Canada? (For example: permanent resident, valid work permit, etc)
