Our private sector client, a community animal protection organization, is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join their team on a full-time basis.

Offered Salary Range: $50,000-$60,000

Your Profile:

To excel in this position, you should have:

2+ years of HR experience, including onboarding, training and development, and managing payroll cycles from initiation to completion
A degree in Human Resources from a recognized institution
Proficiency in full-cycle payroll processes
Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and guidelines
Availability to work on-site in Ottawa five days a week
Strong attention to detail
Experience with HRIS, ADP, and other HR/payroll software would be advantageous

Role Description:

If selected for this role, your responsibilities will include:

Talent Compensation Management

Assisting in employee recruitment and orientation
Monitoring employee training, development, and recognition initiatives
Setting and reviewing program objectives
Supervising wage and salary adjustments and managing payroll records

Data Management and Reporting

Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the HRIS database
Generating and maintaining precise reports, records, and files

Team Support and Development

Guiding colleagues, volunteers, students, and interns through essential training and onboarding
Providing administrative support in the HR department and other areas as needed
Representing the company professionally during PR and promotional activities
Engaging in and sharing professional growth opportunities
