Primary Purpose of Position:

JAAR Property Management Ltd. ("JAAR") is looking for a dynamic individual with at least 2 years of dedicated tow motor operator experience.


In this position, the Forklift Operator/Warehouse Worker will be responsible for the loading and unloading of trucks, stocking of the warehouse, order picking and for the correct positioning of inventory in the warehouse and have daily administrative duties including data entry.

Job Duties

Safely operate forklift/tow motor
-
Perform daily safety and maintenance checks.
-
Perform daily administrative and data entry functions.
-
Ensure accuracy in all inventories, shipping and receiving procedures.

Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies.
-
Assist in daily warehouse and shipping needs.
-
Advise Warehouse Supervisor of any requirements for maintenance or repairs.

Some light housekeeping as required
-
All other job-related duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor
- **Position Requirements


Requirements:

Knowledge of warehouse and distribution operations
At least 2 years of dedicated tow motor operator experience
A valid tow motor or forklift licence is considered an asset
Proven communication skills both written and verbal
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software
Strong attention to detail and customer-focused
Ability to multi-task and remain organized
Ability to perform in a fast paced environment

Work Conditions


The individual must also be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to work or visit within areas where it is required.

This includes hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, steel toed shoes, or other protective equipment as required by the work performed and location the work is being done
Standing, stooping kneeling, squatting, climbing or sitting for long periods of time
Ability to lift 50 Lbs.
Typical Office hours will be 7am to 4pm, Monday Through Friday.
