    Afternoon Shift 2pm-10:30pm

    Responsibilities

    • Complete the safe and efficient repair and maintenance of plant facilities and equipment as required, including working with external contractors.
    • Conduct routine maintenance of production equipment to ensure the most efficient flow of production with the least possible downtime.
    • Ensures all electrical parts, wiring and equipment conform to electrical code requirements in a safe and efficient manner.
    • Support maintenance of spare parts list.
    • Work according to schedule made by production department and Maintenance Supervisor and ensure scheduler is aware when work assignments cannot be completed as planned.
    • Maintain detailed records of labour hours of unscheduled repairs and improvements and technical repairs when creating work orders.
    • Ensure that work is completed in accordance with relevant Electrical Codes and Health & Safety regulations.
    • Execute the preventative maintenance program.
    • Addition duties as required.
    Qualifications

    • Licensed 442A Electrician with 35+ years of experience
    • Experience working in different sectors/industries
    • Experience in an automotive environment is an asset
    • Prior experience with troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
    • Read electrical drawings/schematics, info sheets
    • Overhead crane, tow motor, aerial lifts and measuring devices (such as: micro meter, height indicator, etc.) experience is an asset
