The Technical Solutions Manager (Salesforce Consultant) will work closely with ISM's customers and internal stakeholders to define plans, strategies and architectures for the installation, operation, migration and management of complex information systems.

The position works with engagement team, gathers and analyzes client I/T (Information Technology) needs, translates these needs into requirements for Salesforce Implementation, products, and services, and may lead or advise the teams which install, operate and maintain the Salesforce system.

This includes working with client personnel and executives to identify functional and non-functional requirements and subsequently working with and leading others in the evaluation of options and the identification, justification, and design of the client's solution.


  • The position is responsible for identifying business requirements, requirements management, functional design, prototyping, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), testing, training, defining support procedures and supporting implementations

Responsibilities:


  • Advise on the characteristics and considerations associated with systems management and operations architectures
  • Advise on the characteristics and considerations associated with systems management and operations architectures
  • Own functional and nonfunctional requirement process and build appropriate template and guidelines
  • Provide quality assurance services on projects.
  • Provide thought leadership and project advisory services to clients.
  • Work with other ISM teams to leverage knowledge, tools, and training to optimize solution delivery, quality, and costs.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and training of solution, so that business objectives and customers' requirements are met.
  • Regularly participate in overall planning and objective setting in both the customer setting and the internal setting.
  • Regularly attend/run customer meetings reviewing technical requirements, solutions and issues relating to the delivery of both customer based and internal projects.
  • Participate in, and/or be responsible for the creation, harvesting, protection, and reuse of intellectual capital.
  • Participate actively in knowledge sharing activities like communities of practice, forums, conferences and/or other knowledge exchanges.
  • Develop skills through training courses, mentoring, and other activities

Qualifications:


  • Postsecondary education in a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Agile, SCRUM or RUP Certification required
  • Certification in business analyst and project management (CBAP, PBA, PMP) considered an asset
  • Experience implementing Salesforce functionality
  • Required Salesforce Certifications:
  • Sales Cloud Consultant
  • CPQ Specialist
  • Service Cloud Consultant
  • Field Service Lightning Consultant
  • Experience Cloud Consultant
  • The following Salesforce Certifications considered an asset:
  • Education Cloud Consultant
  • Omani Studio Consultant
  • 3+ years working as a Salesforce Consultant and leading Salesforce implementation
  • 5+ years of IT experience in various delivery roles including Application design, Application Support Services, and Salesforce Solution Implementation
  • Deep enterprise technical knowledge demonstrated by industry solutions implementation
  • Microsoft and/or AWS certifications considered an asset
  • Wide knowledge of various IT delivery methodologies (ITIL, TOGAF, RUP, Zachman, PMP) considered an asset
  • Strong communication skills: verbal, written and interpersonal
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex ideas

  • Proven experience delivering services with increasing degree of responsibility and proven track record with the ability to execute according to plan
  • Experience developing business relationships as well as managing and maintaining customer relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and advise others on tools, technology, and methodology related to designing and implementing IT solutions in their area of technical specialty.
  • Demonstrate the ability to recognize complex problems related to proposed solution or new solution development
  • Ability to determine customer requirements and service delivery options
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
