- Hybrid schedule, with at least 4 days in the office.
- Consolidate and analyze the annual budget for executive and Board reporting.
- Prepare monthly forecasts and quarterly Board materials using the Forecast Consolidation Model.
- Administer BPC and Spotfire tools, including access administration and data stewardship.
- Interpret and develop accounting processes proactively to align with financial reporting.
- Support initiatives such as acquisitions, divestments, or corporate-wide projects that require budget assessments.
- Prepare ad hoc analysis for strategy sessions, budget planning, and Investor Day.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in business analysis, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, or management reporting.
- Experience with SAP, BPC, Spotfire, and Planning Space is beneficial.
- Prior oil and gas sector experience is a plus.
- Engage and influence multi-disciplinary teams, including senior leaders, to drive continuous improvement.

We are hiring a Senior Budgets & Forecast Analyst for a 6-month contract role, with possible extensions in Calgary, Alberta.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Budgets & Forecast, the Senior Analyst plays a crucial role in the team responsible for financial reporting of monthly and quarterly forecasts, the annual budget, and the corporate performance scorecard.
The Senior Analyst gains insight into operational and financial plan data from the company's entire asset portfolio to prepare reports for executives and the Board.
This role offers frequent opportunities for collaboration with various teams such as Corporate Planning, Strategy & Portfolio Management, Investor Relations, Tax, Treasury, and Risk teams.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and possesses strong analytical skills with great attention to detail.
They should be able to simplify complex financial matters for senior leaders and represent Budgets & Forecast in cross-functional project teams for the annual budget.
Ensure information is presented in a way that allows critical decisions to be made efficiently and that communication of operational and financial data focuses on key points.
The candidate should have a university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and hold a CPA or CFA designation.
