    Reporting to the Executive Director of River Park Gardens Personal Care Home, the Clinical Services Coordinator will provide leadership, operational oversight, education coordination and infection control coordination at River Park Gardens.

    The Clinical Services Coordinator is responsible for working in collaboration with the Executive Director to achieve excellence in resident centered care and services; and in overall continuous quality improvement.

    Minimum four years management experience in health care, preferably in long-term care or geriatrics.
    Experience in the use of electronic health records.
    Experience in the effective application of infection control measures.
    Experience in providing education, training and mentorship for the professional development of others.
    Bachelor degree in Nursing required.
    Ability to work a flexible schedule with occasional evenings/nights/weekends/statutory holidays.
    Ability to plan, manage and implement change.
    Ability to remain organized and manage competing priorities.
    Ability to effectively manage budgets, materials and human resources.
    Ability to demonstrate appropriate skill level with related computer programs, such as: Microsoft Office,
    Scheduling Software, ESP/SAP.

    This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred.

    Please note that an employee is not permitted to hold two or more positions across the WRHA legal entity that combine to equal more than 1.The WRHA legal entity includes Churchill Health Centre, Deer Lodge Centre, Grace Hospital, Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg, Pan Am Clinic, River Park Gardens, Victoria General Hospital, WRHA corporate programs, and WRHA community health services.

    Effective April 1, 2024, Golden West Centennial Lodge will also be part of the WRHA legal entity.
