We are hiring an Assembler Technician for one of our clients located in
Mississauga.

Our client is one of the fastest growing companies in the industry, with new products and services being introduced every month.

General Accountabilities:

Responsible for picking raw materials and assembly of finished products

Specific Accountabilities:

Ability to follow detailed instructions in order to meet safety and quality requirements.
Basic ability to work with hand tools.
Ability to Interpret technical documents (drawings, diagrams, bills of material) to assemble, install electrical and mechanical components as specified.
Ability to comprehend and follow detailed verbal and written instructions.
Ability to pick, carry parts and products.
Ability to identify any raw material variations to Quality Control standards, before using.
Verify piece inventories (low stock) during order picking. Advise Lead Hands, Supervisor of any shortage of materials and materials that cannot be found.
Completion of work assignments in a timely manner. Advise Lead Hands, Supervisors of any training support, requirements. Communicate variances in work assigned immediately.
Ability to capture work data, activity advance. Capturing timely accurate information in computer are important.
Workstations need to be maintained in a clean and organized manner.
Paint items as required.
Basic knowledge of electronical, mechanical assembly.

Qualifications:_

Minimum 2 years' experience in related position.
Interpret technical documents (drawings, diagrams, bills of material).
Basic knowledge of electronic and mechanical assemblies.
Fluent in English.
Basic / intermediate computer skills.
Able to work under pressure.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods of time.
Able to work both independently and as a team member.
Ability using hand tools, glue gun, heat gun used for light assembly activities. Basic soldering and gluing capabilities.
Do any other assignments as required.
Able to lift 50 Lbs.
Knowledge of French (an asset)
