Description

ISS Corporate Solutions seeks an experienced Sustainability Solutions Product Manager to collaborate with our diverse teams, strategically developing and executing a SaaS product roadmap for innovative environmental, social, and sustainability solutions tailored to corporations.


You will lead cloud-based sustainability offerings for the C-suite and sustainability departments in publicly traded enterprises, serving as a linchpin for key stakeholders, including Sustainability heads, General Counsels, Corporate Secretaries, Investor Relations heads, and, in select cases, CEOs and board members.


This role involves prioritizing and synthesizing product and customer needs, shaping the product vision, and collaborating with peers in Product, Project Management, Research, Data Strategy, Development, Client Advisory, Sales, and Marketing, ensuring revenue and customer goals are achieved.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage product lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical execution.
  • Gather market/client feedback through user groups, consultations, and beta programs.
  • Assess industry trends and needs via research and intelligence assessments.
  • Drive crossfunctional action from product conception to launch.
  • Develop detailed requirement documents and specifications.
  • Create product illustrations, prototypes, and presentations for user experience.
  • Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Lead a team of business analysts and specialists (23).

Requirements:


  • Background in corporate sustainability is strongly preferred.
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in a corporate environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in sustainability management, environmental science, engineering, business, or a related field.

Skills and Personal Attributes:

  • Proven experience in sustainability topics and data such as climate change, environmental (e.g., biodiversity, environmental impact assessments) and social (e.g., human rights, modern slavery) issues.
  • Familiarity with sustainability reporting disclosure frameworks and regulation e.g., CSRD, IFRS, GRI and TCFD.
  • Prior team management experience is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills, and ability to work in teams in a crossfunctional, global, diverse and multicultural environment.
  • Decisive, logical and experienced manager who's able to followthrough independently.
  • Attention to detail and organization with strong problemsolving, prioritization skills, and time management.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to develop interpersonal relationships.
  • Product/project management, market research, trend analysis, technical writing, and presentation skills.
  • A strong work ethic, selfmotivated and able to work independently and follow through under mínimal supervision.
  • Personal and business integrity and drive to achieve product and company goals.

Hiring Manager Tip:

We are seeking an individual with a robust foundation in sustainability, ideally within a corporate environment or as a seasoned sustainability consultant.

However, we are open to considering applicants who possess expertise in ESG/sustainability in other disciplines such as responsible investment, asset management firms, or research institutions.

While prior product-specific experience is not a prerequisite, adeptness in project management is highly valued.
