    Community Impact and Programs
    Full-Time

    Are you interested about joining a dynamic team that aims to make a difference in the lives of individuals experiencing poverty and homeless? Do you have relevant experience in social work and psychology? The program will focus on building skills, understanding of trauma and social connection, and development of relapse prevention strategies.

    This will be coupled with transitional housing supports, which will focus on building recovery capital in multiple areas such as skills for independent living, financial literacy, employment, and connection to long-term/post program community-based supports such as mental and physical health, ongoing recovery program, social and recreation programs, cultural supports and others.


    Employment Type:
    Full Time, Fixed Term (April 2024 – March 2025)

    Schedule:
    Monday to Friday, 10:00AM to 6:00PM
    Liaise with internal and external resources that will help clients increase their assets. Build a comprehensive library and knowledge base on community resources;
    Share and disseminate community resource information;
    Attend meetings and training sessions as required, staying current with best practices and organizational developments.
    Provide input into the development of policies and procedures for designated programs;
    Bachelor in Social Work or Bachelor in Psychology or equivalent;
    Three to five years of related working experience;
    Competent in use of MS Office;
    Excellent administrative, time management and organizational skills;
    Local travel to various Mustard Seed sites and external agencies will be required
    Must have legal authorization to work in Canada on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
