Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an
HR Analyst, Compensation Benefits & Pension on a temporary (up to 7 month) basis on our People and Culture team.
We are looking for a team member that has a passion for supporting and evolving the customer experience related to compensation, benefits and pension programming.
What you'll do:
- Operational delivery of compensation, benefit & pension programs, policies, plans, and strategies including annual cycles.
- Work with leaders to develop role profiles to ensure content reflects accountabilities of the position.
- Role evaluations for salary benchmarking and providing support to the Talent Acquisition team relating to salary recommendations as needed.
- Key point of contact for client inquires relating to compensation, benefit & pension programs to provide support, guidance, resolution, and escalating where necessary.
- Under guidance of the CBP Manager, investigates unknowns, analyzes information and data.
- Creates moderately complex reports that support recommendations for broader business initiatives and decision making.
- Evaluate and report on compensation trends, program effectiveness, regulatory changes, and best practices, for the purpose of making recommendations for future program enhancements or modifications as it relates to compensation, benefits & pension programs.
- Participate in third party comprehensive surveys, providing analytics that support the organization and contribute to compensation, benefits & pension initiatives.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders in the support of projects and initiatives while ensuring alignment to business objectives and strategic plans.
- Development of communication strategies, educational sessions and materials for compensation, benefits & pension programs, and initiatives across the Cooperative Retailing System (CRS).

You will work closely with FCL and local Co-ops leaders, team members and will report into the Supervisor, Compensation, Benefits & Pension.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Human Resources & Training and:
- Have a Bachelor's degree with preference or HR, Commerce, or Business Administration.
- Have a minimum of 13 years of HR experience supporting benefits and compensation programs (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
- Experience with pension, benefits, and compensation is considered an asset.
