    Key Responsibilities

    • Answer inbound service-related calls regarding all aspects of doing business with Foresters Financial and Foresters Financial activities. Conduct follow up calls as needed.
    • Prioritize the customer relationship at all times by listening and responding with empathy
    • Stay current on relevant business topics, communications and process changes
    • Provide the highest level of customer service and facilitate all actions necessary through collaboration with multiple business areas, including research and follow up to positively satisfy customer needs
    • Maximize opportunities to evolve the customer relationship by providing excellent customer service and promoting the benefits of being a Foresters member
    • Proficiently determine the needs of the caller and provide support with accurate and timely resolution following approved escalation procedures
    • Understand the impact of individual Key Performance Indicators and set challenging development goals to support individual and team success
    • Contribute innovative ideas to solve problems, prioritizing continuous improvement
    • Cultivate self-awareness by proactively seeking feedback and acting upon it

    Key Qualifications

    • 3-5 years of customer service experience with a passion for service excellence. Previous inbound contact center experience is required
    • Proficient in English and Spanish (verbal and written) to effectively communicate with internal and external customers/partners and vendors is required
    • Ability to meet tight timelines under pressure while delivering quality service
    • Technical/analytical skills within established systems, standards, and clearly defined procedures within in a structured job environment
    • Ability to self-manage workload volumes and changing priorities in a team environment
    • Empathetic and personable with the ability to listen carefully, organize and communicate complex information while keyboarding in order to meet customer expectations
    • Creative and confident problem solver, results oriented with emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail and the ability to understand impacts of decisions
    • Systematic, methodical, organized and analytically oriented
    • Effective multi-tasking and time management skills, including the ability to adapt to changing demands and priorities
    • Team oriented with the ability to share your expertise
    • Willingly seek and accept personal accountability
    • Knowledge of Contact Center Key Performance Indicators is a strong asset
    • Knowledge of life insurance industry products and services would be a preferred asset
    • Intermediate computer skills, including strong keyboarding and aptitude to learn new systems
    • College Diploma or University Degree an asset

    Responsabilidades principales

    • Responder a las llamadas entrantes sobre los servicios en relación con todos los aspectos de los negocios realizados con Foresters Financial y las actividades de Foresters Financial. Realizar llamadas de seguimiento si es necesario.
    • Priorizar la relación con los clientes en todo momento escuchando y respondiendo con empatía
    • Mantenerse actualizado en temas relevantes para los negocios, comunicaciones y cambios en los procesos
    • Proporcionar el más alto nivel de atención al cliente y facilitar todas las acciones necesarias mediante la colaboración con diversas áreas de negocios, lo que incluye investigación y seguimiento para satisfacer las necesidades del cliente de forma positiva
    • Maximizar las oportunidades para desarrollar la relación con los clientes proporcionando un excelente servicio de atención y promoviendo los beneficios que conlleva la afiliación a Foresters
    • Determinar, de forma competente, las necesidades de la persona que llama y proporcionar asistencia para resolver los asuntos de manera oportuna y precisa siguiendo los procedimientos aprobados de escalamiento
    • Comprender el impacto de los Indicadores Clave de Rendimiento individuales y establecer objetivos desafiantes de desarrollo que apoyen el éxito individual y del equipo
    • Contribuir con ideas innovadoras para resolver problemas, priorizando la mejora continua
    • Cultivar el conocimiento de uno mismo buscando retroalimentación de forma proactiva y actuando en función de esta

    Requisitos principales

    • De 3 a 5 años de experiencia en servicios de atención al cliente, unida a la pasión por la excelencia. Es necesario tener experiencia previa en un centro de llamadas
    • Se requiere dominio de los idiomas inglés y español (hablado y escrito) para comunicarse de forma efectiva con clientes/socios internos y externos, y vendedores
    • Capacidad para cumplir con plazos ajustados bajo presión al tiempo que se presta un servicio de calidad
    • Habilidades técnicas/analíticas en el marco de los sistemas, estándares y procedimientos claramente definidos y establecidos dentro de un entorno laboral estructurado
    • Capacidad para autogestionar el volumen de trabajo y las prioridades cambiantes en un ambiente de equipo
    • Ser empático y afable y tener la capacidad de escuchar cuidadosamente, organizar y comunicar información compleja mientras escribe en el teclado con el fin de cumplir con las expectativas de los clientes
    • Capacidad para resolver problemas de manera creativa y con confianza, orientación hacia la obtención de resultados con énfasis en la precisión y atención al detalle, así como la capacidad para entender el impacto de las decisiones
    • Orientación hacia un trabajo sistemático, metódico, organizado y analítico
    • Capacidad para realizar múltiples tareas al mismo tiempo y administrar el tiempo de manera eficaz, lo que incluye la habilidad para adaptarse a exigencias y prioridades cambiantes

    • Must be available to work rotating shifts between the hours of 8:00 am and 8:00 pm, Monday to Friday, and provide coverage on some Canadian Statutory holidays
