YOUR DAILY LIFE:
  • Based out of Nanaimo, BC (Canada) the General Manager, Eddyfi Robotics is accountable for the performance of the robotics product line, including business development, product development, project management and production.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:


  • Develop and implement the business strategy for the robotics product line to maximize profits and productivity.
  • Identify business opportunities and provide suggestions for overall business growth and increasing revenue.
  • Create, review and implement effective business plans to capture the best market opportunities.
  • Develop a product roadmap, balancing projects and products revenues to drive highgrowth.
  • Maintaining relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Overseeing daily operations of the business, including manufacturing.
  • Lead a remote team, as well as provide local leadership to all Nanaimo employees.
  • Actively drive employee engagement.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain budgetary and resource allocation plans.
  • Partner with key internal stakeholders from other departments and locations to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Ensuring that company policies and procedures are followed by all employees.
  • Keeping uptodate with industry trends and competitors.
  • Attending industry conferences and events to build networks and promote the business.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:


  • Engineering degree (mechanical, software, electronics or physics) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 15 years of related experience, including 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Fluency in English required, knowledge of French an asset.
  • Knowledge of the Non-Destructive Testing industry a strong asset.
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills.
  • Strong understanding and handson experience with continuous improvement principles.
  • Strong customer orientation and business acumen.
  • Experience managing a team in a multisite environment, with strong preference for international.
  • Experience with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ability to manage fast growth and evolve in a constantly changing environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in

Microsoft Office:
Word, PowerPoint is required.

  • Knowledge of Salesforce & SAP an asset.
  • Willing and able to travel internationally.
