This position will be responsible for:

  • Thorough knowledge of GIS desktop tools, including ESRI ArcGIS Pro and its extensions (e.g., Spatial or Network Analyst), ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online;
  • Creating and maintaining database queries, ability to script in ArcPy, Python, Arcade, SQL;
  • Preparing data translation routines to integrate data into, as well as reporting information out of GIS and the Asset Management System;
  • Proficiency or experience with Maintenance Connection or similar CMMS and FME data integration software would be an asset;
  • Interpreting and uploading information from legal surveys, asbuilt drawings and digital data sets;
  • Implementing procedures for data integrity and quality control;
  • Researching technologies and recommending upgrades related to the work;
  • Serving as a project lead on various short and mediumterm projects as assigned, and;
  • Performing other related duties as required.


This position requires the completion of a university degree or college diploma in GIS/Geography or Computer Science, plus have minimum 5 years of directly related and relevant experience, preferably in a municipal environment.

  • 35 hours per week (hours and days of work may vary) Rate of Pay:
  • $38.72 per hour
(This position has a pay structure with five steps which increase annually)
