We are seeking an Accounting Manager responsible for all areas that relate to financial reporting, who has a passion for numbers, a knack for accuracy, and the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.

They will develop and maintain accounting procedures, practices, and principles to ensure timely and accurate financial statements.


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Manage and develop the Accountant through process improvement, performance management, skill development and training
  • Set objectives that align with the accounting department's goals
  • Reconcile and analyze all general ledger accounts
  • Post journal entries and enter monthend accruals
  • Prepare expenses per cost center for various departments
  • Maintain data accuracy and integrity
  • Collaborate with AP and AR for month end closing
  • Analyze expense variances and gross margin reconciliation
  • Manage monthend process and produce accurate monthly and combined financial statements within the established deadlines
  • Balance royalty payments and nonresident tax payments
  • Coordinate Year-End closing
  • Prepare all schedules for yearend audit and assist with documentation for sales and government audit

Ideally You'll Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with full cycle accounting
  • Bachelors' degree in Accounting
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.)
  • Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations
  • Skills in compiling data and analyzing financial information for decision making purposes
  • Indepth knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables & VLOOKUP Function) and accounting software
  • Team player mentality ready to roll up sleeves when needed
