Description

Position Summary:

The selected individual will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining various mechanical systems and equipment in our facilities. This position calls for a solid grasp of power engineering principles, a dedication to safety, and the capacity to work efficiently, both autonomously and collaboratively.

Compensation & Hours:

Compensation will be based on expertise and experience

Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Location: Lethbridge, AB

Availability to commence within a 2-week period is necessary

Job Responsibilities:

Monitor and manage equipment such as boilers, pumps, and dryer systems to ensure optimal functionality
Safely utilize a forklift for material handling tasks
Organize materials efficiently to enhance storage capacity and streamline inventory control
Support various warehouse activities including order picking, product packing, and inventory checks

Required Qualifications:

Valid 5th Class Power Engineering Certification
Steel-Toed Boots
Capability to lift 20kg
Prior experience in a related role is advantageous but not mandatory
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team with minimal supervision
Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance with relevant regulations and protocols

Bonus Points For:

Proficiency in forklift operations
Experience within the food manufacturing sector
