    \tRichardson Oilseed is one of Canada's oldest and largest fully-integrated oilseed processing and packaging operations with three facilities across Canada. In addition to producing bulk canola oil and meal, our food products division produces a wide variety of canola-based margarines, oils, and shortenings for the industrial, retail and foodservice markets.\r

    \tWorking with Richardson opens to door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for a 3rd Class Power Engineer at our Lethbridge, AB location. The hourly wage for this position is $41.33 per hour.\r

    \tResponsibilities:
    \r

    \r
    \t\r
    \t\tOperation of boilers and ammonia systems\r
    \t\r
    \t\tMaintenance of boilers and auxiliary equipment\r
    \t\r
    \t\tMonitor and coordinate corrective actions for equipment and systems\r
    \t\r
    \t\tMaintain accurate records of boiler house activities\r
    \t\r
    \t\tRespond to fire alarms\r
    \t\r
    \t\tRespond to first aid emergencies\r
    \r
    \r
    \t \r
    \r

    \tQualifications:
    \r

    \r
    \t\r
    \t\tGrade 12 or equivalent\r
    \t\r
    \t\tValid 3rd Class Power Engineer Certificate\r
    \t\r
    \t\tValid First Aid certificate or willing to obtain\r
    \t\r
    \t\tExperience in operating large steam boilers and large ammonia refrigeration systems\r
    \t\r
    \t\tAbility to work independently and take appropriate action where circumstances warrant\r
    \t\r
    \t\tMechanical aptitude/skills\r
    \t\r
    \t\tExcellent written, documentation, computer and verbal communication skills\r
    \t\r
    \t\tWilling to work shifts and overtime\r
    \r
    \r
    \t \r
    \r
