Position Information:

Qualifications:


  • Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Medical Terminology
  • Knowledge of Cerner chemotherapy scheduling system (Powerchart Oncology)
  • Knowledge of Cerner electronic patient chart (Powerchart)
  • 2 years' experience in busy hospital or ambulatory clinic ward clerk setting
  • Knowledge of Cerner patient registration system


  • Computer skills

  • Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of Personal Health Information Protection Act
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Knowledge of systemic chemotherapy regimens
  • Commitment to future changes in unit philosophies and ongoing continuing education
  • Selfmotivated.
  • Commitment to Patient Care & Safety and Service Excellence.
  • Must have and provide proof of full COVID19 immunization
(2 or more doses).
