    Description

    Are you a strong Quality Engineer with NPI and Industrialisation experience? Have you worked in an automotive or tier 1 manufacturing environment? If so, our client, a tier 1 automotive supplier, is recruiting for a Quality Engineer for their site in North Yorkshire.

    Quality Engineer
    Permanent
    £Quality Engineer
    Review of customer RFQ packs, specifications and requirements to ensure that they are fully understood and appropriately costed in terms of DV, PV and in-process testing
    Creation and updates to Process Flow documentation and Control Plans
    Promoting the use of customer preferred techniques including Poka-Yoke (error proofing) and Measurement System Analysis
    Quality Engineer
    Demonstrated knowledge of quality systems, measurement methods and statistical analysis tools
    Strong knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
    Previous experience working within a high-volume manufacturing environment, with plastic injection moulding, painting and associated assembly processes a distinct advantage
