    What you will do:

  • Process accounting files for various departments.
  • Cash balancing and bank reconciliation.
  • Prepare and post daily deposits.
  • Process accounts receivables and collections.
  • Initiate credit and reference checks with credit institutions when necessary.
  • Process accounts payable invoices; reconciliation of supplier statements; payment of supplier statements.
  • Liaise with customers to collect arrears receivable.
  • Process and reconcile receivables from manufacturer.
  • Maintain sublet repairs, sublet accounting schedule, and sublet items such as towing charges and vehicle rental charges.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly statements through reconciliation of various accounts.
  • Assist in preparing fiscal year-end working papers for auditors.
  • Follow all company and manufacturer policies, directives, and procedures.
  • Help out with any month-end duties (i.e. warranty, and insurance/loyalty submissions).
  • Other responsibilities if needed to assist the Controller .

    • For this role, come equipped with:

  • Experience working in the automotive industry.
  • Experience working within an office with accounting functions.
  • Excellent organization and keen attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills.
  • The ability to develop positive relationships with all personnel and management.
  • The motivation and drive to work independently with little supervision.
  • Demonstrated reliability in attendance.
  • Reynolds & Reynolds experience is considered an asset.
