Description

As a Commercial Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in commercialising our products and services for the residential and consumer market segments.

While technical knowledge is a plus, this role primarily emphasises the commercial aspects of program management.

You will be responsible for leveraging incentive programs offered by government entities and navigating the complex landscape of California's energy industry, including Community Choice Aggregators (CCAs).

Requirements

Lead the commercialization efforts of our energy products and services targeting residential and consumer markets.
Utilize federal and commercial incentive programs to drive sales and enhance market penetration.
Navigate the political landscape of California to maximize opportunities and mitigate challenges.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, CCAs, and commercial partners.
Identify and pursue grant funding opportunities, including managing the RFP process for California GFOs (Grant Funding Opportunities).
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of programs and initiatives.
Travel up to 25% to meet partners across California and the United States, representing the company's interests and fostering collaborative partnerships.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven experience in commercial program management, preferably in the energy sector targeting residential or consumer markets.
Familiarity with federal and commercial incentive programs related to energy.
Strong understanding of the energy industry, including knowledge of Community Choice Aggregators (CCAs) and regulatory frameworks in California.
Experience navigating the political landscape of California and building relationships with relevant stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and drive initiatives with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in managing RFP processes, particularly in the context of California GFOs, is highly desirable.
Comfortable with frequent travel within California and occasional travel within the United States.
