About the role:


The Social Media and Digital Marketing Specialist will help plan and implement digital marketing and social media initiatives for multiple lottery programs.

The Social Media and Digital Marketing Specialist will work closely with the marketing team, Project Managers, and vendors.


We are looking to fill this position in our Toronto, Ontario location and will be a hybrid of remote and in the office work.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Work with the creative team to develop creative used in social and digital marketing efforts.
  • Follow and monitor the lottery identity, brand, and style guidelines.
  • Participate in the planning, scheduling and execution of all digital and social media campaigns, ensuring that campaigns are completed on time and to budget.
  • Coordinate the creation, approval and execution of a social media content calendar for each lottery campaign.
  • Coordinate approvals, execution and monitoring of all digital ads while in market.
  • Monitor and identify brand and community conversations and enquiries.
  • Generate effective Social Media Influencer marketing campaigns.
  • Improve ongoing campaigns based on performance data and insights.
  • Monitor analytics and adjust digital and social plans while in campaign to maximize results andROI.
  • Coordinate all briefing packages and reporting.
  • Keep up with the latest Social Media and Digital Marketing best practices and marketing trends.

Qualifications:


  • Postsecondary degree/diploma in marketing or related discipline
  • Intermediate level skills with MS Office
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong proofreading skills and a keen eye for detail
  • The ability to develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly organized
  • Demonstrated ability to work with data and draw relevant insights
  • Strong understanding of consumer behaviour and the role of digital marketing and social media in the consumer journey
  • 3+ years of work experience related to digital marketing and social media management
