    GPTZero's mission is to restore information quality and transparency on the internet.

    Our team comes from high-performing engineering cultures, including Twitter, Uber, Meta, Affirm, and leading AI research labs, including Princeton, Caltech, Vector, and MILA.

    We are working on novel models and pushing cutting-edge research to production, including AI detection, AI hallucination detection, retrieval augmented generation, and writing stylometry to over 3 million active users, and enterprise clients including Fortune 1000 and Unicorn AI companies.

    In this role, you'll build the next-gen platform to verify the origin, quality, and factuality of the world's information.

    The ideal intern candidate is someone who is a voracious learner, has a history of building applications from the ground up, and can break down complex challenges.

    You'll be working on a fast-paced team of passionate builders and partnering closely with our ML and design teams, to create industry-defining software that has attracted over 2M users globally.

    Past intern projects have been the focus of demos to VCs and state-level policy leaders.
    Build and deploy high-impact, intuitive, AI-driven web apps in React, Node, and Tailwind
    Utilize product analytics to make data-driven product decisions
    Comfortable building end-to-end experiences from backend to CSS
    ~+2 years of experience with modern web frameworks (Express, , Typescript, and React)
    ~+1 years of experience with databases (PostgreSQL, AWS RDS)
    ~ experience working in an early-stage startup environment
    ~ Alex (our CTO) R&D at Uber self-driving division and Facebook, 3 patents in ML
    Edmond (our fullstack lead) Obama Foundation Scholar at Columbia University and Editor-in-chief of The Andela Way

    Edward (our CEO, ex-Bellingcat, Microsoft, BBC investigative journalism) to craft the messages we send to our community, and shape the GPTZero brand.
