What does success look like at Pinnguaq?

  • Engaging with thousands of young learners and adults across the country through the delivery of communitycentered workshops.
  • Designing and deploying interactive experiences, online learning modules, and maker kits to teach STEAM fundamentals to all ages.
  • Publishing the nationallyrecognized Root & STEM magazine, creating a space to explore diverse voices and stories in STEAM.
  • Operating makerspaces in Nunavut & Ontario, providing handson access to tools, equipment, and training for inquisitive minds and makers.
  • As a Community Program Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the Community Travel Team and working with thirdparty Community Partner Delivery teams. Your focus will be on people management and ensuring the successful execution of learning experiences in various communities.

As the Community Delivery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic growth initiatives that propel Pinnguaq towards a transformative future.

With your holistic understanding of the Community Makerspace landscape and learners' needs, your leadership will empower communities nationwide and foster innovation and inclusivity.

Responsibilities:


  • People Management:_
  • Lead and inspire the Community Travel Team and Community Partner Delivery teams (3rd party) to make a lasting impact on STEAM learning in diverse communities across Canada.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop training resources that empower the Community Travel Team for effective onboarding and ongoing support.
  • Ensure the Team is fully prepared to deliver meaningful learning experiences both in their communities and online.
  • Facilitate regular checkins and strategic calls to provide guidance, support, and gather valuable feedback.
  • Lead and facilitate highlevel team meetings to set priorities and plan inspiring next steps.
  • Create growth opportunities, conduct team evaluations, provide coaching, and deliver empowering annual reviews for all direct reports.
  • Champion a culture of innovation and creativity within the Community Travel Team, fostering an environment where new ideas are celebrated and nurtured.
  • Collaborate with community leaders and stakeholders to tailor STEAM learning experiences to the unique needs and interests of each community.
  • Annual Planning and Reporting:_
  • Track and report metrics to support datadriven decisionmaking within the Community Travel Team and Community Partner Delivery.
  • Manage and ensure uptodate and accurate data across the Community Travel Team.
  • Analyze Community Travel Team/Community Partner Delivery data to provide insights and feedback for optimizing resources and results.
  • Regularly report progress to the leadership team and collaborate with crossfunctional teams to align metrics and data collection processes, fostering a cohesive approach to decisionmaking.
  • Identify and implement strategies to reach annual and quarterly goals and address any barriers hindering progress.
  • Strategic Program Expansion:_
  • Utilize your holistic understanding of the Community Makerspace landscape and learners' needs to lead the development of relevant, repeatable, and sustainable programming.
  • Strategically grow programs nationwide, exceeding learner targets, and enriching communities.
  • Lead the development of a strong national brand for Pinnguaq Community Makerspaces, attracting learners and stakeholders across the country.
  • Advocate for diversity and inclusivity in STEAM education, ensuring that programs and initiatives are accessible and welcoming to all learners.
  • Develop innovative strategies for Community Makerspaces or Delivery spaces, aligning with organizational vision.
  • Work collaboratively with the Community Delivery Partnership Manager to support Educator and Community Delivery programs.
  • Stay informed on education and community support trends, identifying new opportunities.
  • Lead program advisory committees for innovative developments.
