- Oversee daily operations throughout the shop/yard
- Organize shop layout to optimize workflow and maintain overall conditions
- Schedule and coordinate personnel, contractors, and resources for maintenance tasks
- Conduct maintenance activities and implement enhancements when needed
- Source necessary parts and manage inventory accurately
- Ensure completion of weekly consumables and field requisitions orders
- Provide guidance and support to Coordinators
- Assist as necessary
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a mechanical or industrial setting
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills to motivate a diverse team
- Thorough understanding of shop operations and repair procedures
- Effective organizational and problems-solving skills
- Attention to detail and dedication to high-quality work
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle pressure efficiently
- Valid certifications including First Aid, Fall Arrest, etc.
- Willingness to travel to oil and gas sites
- Strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude
- Interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse personalities
- Troubleshooting proficiency in various disciplines
- Previous experience with truck/trailer equipment
- Familiarity with electrical control and power circuits
- Prior experience in frac operations
- Beneficial to have First Aid & H2S certifications
- Previous exposure to oilfield equipment maintenance
- Knowledge of automation or PLC controlled components
