Description
Reporting to the Sales/General Manager, the Sales Representative will be responsible for driving business development initiatives to help support the growth of the Service Master Franchise.
The Sales Representative will be required to source and contact prospective clients, follow up on leads, and close deals to secure accounts.
Specifically, the incumbent will cold calling prospective customers, deliver sales presentations on service offerings, and attend tradeshows and events to market service offering.
This position will have a strong emphasis on client satisfaction and effectively transitioning new clients to the account and/or project managers.
Prospect opportunities to market ServiceMaster's service offering within the target marketMaintain prospective client database to utilize for ongoing marketing campaigns
Establish a high standard of performance measures to ensure consistency in delivery
Develop annual sales plans for the store/territory in accordance to overall sales strategy established by management
Track and provide sales status updates to management on a regular basis
Stay alert to changing business conditions including competitive activities, economic conditions, and market trends
Attend and participate in production meetings to learn more about established standards of performance and understanding customer's expectations related to ServiceMaster's ability to perform
Understand and interpret company policies to customers when required to ensure a high level of professionalism at all times
Conduct all work in accordance with company safety policies
Adherence to all company workplace policies
