    Description

    Responsibilities

    • Provide oversight during early stages of the project.
    • Collaborate with Project Electrical Lead to ensure systems are safe and reliable.
    • Review maintenance strategies and spare parts requirements with Client Maintenance teams.
    • Act as a subject-matter-expert in electrical equipment and procedures.
    • Interface with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with technical standards.
    • Direct and mentor junior engineers for their professional growth.

    Requirements

    • Electrical Engineering Degree and Professional Engineer registration in Canada.
    • Minimum 15 years' experience in Electrical Engineering.
    • Strong understanding of electrical equipment and testing processes.
    • Proficiency in areas like Generators, motors, transformers, safety systems, and more.
    • Familiarity with codes such as CSA, API, NPC, ISO, and NFPA.
    • Project management skills and proficiency in SAP.
    • Leadership abilities to guide, motivate, and coach team members.
    • Experience in multi-disciplinary team environments.
    • Capability to work under pressure and collaboratively.
