Administrator, Payroll Services


Salary:
$56,138 - $70,252 - $77,278 per year (pay range explained below)


Contract: 1 year Term


Hours: 37.5 Hours, Monday - Friday (core hours 9am - 3pm)

Location:
Park Royal, West Vancouver - Hybrid (minimum 50% in office).

Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway, after October 2024.


About the role

About you
To be successful in this role you will have/be

  • Successful completion of secondary school, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Relevant experience working as a payroll clerk (usually acquired over a 2year period)
  • Experience working with BC First Nations organizations in a financial capacity
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite of software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Occupational Certification

  • Successful completion of Canadian Payroll Association PCP certification is an asset

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.

Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.

The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level.


As a health and wellness organization, the FNHA has aligned with the Provincial Public Health Order released on October 14, 2021.

We have a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees at First Nations Health Authority. This policy requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
