    Quails' Gate's New Warehouse, located in Lake Country , is currently looking for highly motivated and skilled individuals for the position of Forklift Operator. A multi-location opportunity requiring travel between Lake Country and West Kelowna that offers a variety of work with flexible hours.

    This warehouse position plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of our products, making a significant impact on our operations. The successful candidates will be able to work independently to get the job done. This means managing multiple inbound and outbound deliveries, assisting in organizing the warehouse, sorting and stacking pallets of wine, working with fulfillment to pack wine shipments, and assisting on the bottling line when needed. This job is physically demanding and requires an individual who is adept at working within tight time frames and is willing to jump in and complete tasks promptly.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move, stack, and transport pallets of wine, packaging materials, and other goods within the warehouse.
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of orders.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Participate in bottling operations, including labeling, packaging, and palletizing finished products.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and bottling areas to uphold quality standards and safety protocols.

    • Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year's experience in forklift operation.
  • Must hold and maintain forklift certification/license.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and hardworking
  • Ability to travel between Warehouse locations (Lake Country & West Kelowna)
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Follow safety requirements at all times.
  • Ability to lift 55 lbs.
  • Enjoy working in a warehouse environment.

    • Wage:

  • $19 - $24 per hour based on experience

  • Based out of Lake Country (Beaver Lake Court).
