    About the Role

    Intact Investment Management Inc. is a subsidiary of Intact Financial Corporation located in Montreal, QC. We are a growing team of investment professionals managing over $30 billion in assets for institutional investors.

    We are a leading player in the investment management sector. Our dedicated team of in-house experts consists of 70 members and is expanding. Our teams include Fixed Income, Equity, Private Investment, Asset Allocation, Compliance, Trading, and Transactional Support/Reporting.

    Position:

    We are seeking an Accounting Specialist, Investment Reporting to join our team in charge of reporting investments worldwide.

    Location: Montreal (2020 Robert-Bourassa)

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform financial close processes, internal controls, and validate results efficiently and with top-notch quality.
    • Create external financial reports for investments including group financial statements, management reports, and regulatory reporting.
    • Generate internal investment reports for multiple entities in different countries.
    • Collaborate with Finance teams on integrating investment results into global reporting.
    • Assist auditors by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
    • Enhance automation of accounting and internal control processes for improved efficiency and accuracy.

    Requirements:

    • CPA designation or passed CFE.
    • 2-3 years of relevant experience or from an audit firm.
    • Quick learner.
    • Independent, efficient, and a team player.
    • Keen on investments and with strong analytical skills.
    • Capable of managing multiple priorities.
    • Bilingualism required for Quebec candidates.
