Job Title:
Retail Sales Associate

Reports To:
Retail Supervisor(s) and/or Guest Services Manager

Job Summary:

Dedicated to sharing our amazing products and experiences, our Retail Sales Associates strive to provide a best in class guest experience to all who walk through our doors.

Our friendly interactions, strong product knowledge and attention to detail will connect our guests with the products we sell and the memories we shape.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Create a warm and welcoming environment in our stores
Leverage our product to tell stories
Engage and connect with our guests on the sales floor
Curate specific product collections for each guest you meet
Ensure visual standards are followed and maintained
Seek information regarding new products, promotions and Park activities
Take accountability to respond to customer feedback in a timely manner
Hold self and others accountable
Share ideas with the leadership team on how to improve the employee and guest experience
Contribute to an environment where everyone knows their health and safety is a top priority and where everyone actively participates in ensuring the health and safety of each other and our guests
Assists with the setup and teardown of seasonal events/merchandise for various stores.
Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Experience in specialty retail or a retail environment preferred but not required

Skills:

Adaptability, flexibility and a willingness to learn new things and be exposed to all aspects of our retail operation
An outgoing, enthusiastic and professional demeanor. Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills would be an asset
Must be able to take initiative and work independently as well as being an effective member of the team

Special Clothing:

This is a costumed position.

Costume(s) are provided by Heritage Parkand typically paired with the employee's personal clothing items, accessories and footwear, all of which must adhere to Heritage Park's Costume Policy.

Special Working Conditions:

This position involves standing for long periods of time. Some heavy lifting is also required.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays
