    Description

    We're currently seeking a Clerk to join our Customer Service team This position reports directly to the Customer Service Supervisors, and some of the main responsibilities include;

  • Opening and closing duties, setting up storefront, filling supplies, cleaning mats, preparing and assisting in organizing deliveries and providing wrapping carry out service to meet customer satisfaction.
  • Provides customer service and maintains positive customer relations through the proper handling of questions, comments, requests and complaints.
  • Performs duties following established Occupational Health and Safety, Food Safety and Environmental regulations and policies to ensure the health and safety of all staff and customers
  • Handles merchandise ensuring quality, minimizing damages and markdowns

    • What skills and abilities will you need to be considered?

  • Grade 9 or acceptable combination of education and experience
  • Must be fluent in English (CLBA-Canadian Language Benchmark Assessment score of 5 or higher)

    Previous retail or related experience

    MINIMUM / ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Grade 9 or an acceptable combination of education and experience.

    • Related retail experience.
    DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Previous cash handling, banking or related retail experience

    • Must be fluent in English

    • Basic Work, Excel and Outlook

    • Previous retail cashier experience
    ***Employees must successfully complete and maintain the following courses:

    • Cashier-training program (within probation or class trial).
