    You will be part of the marketing, branding and communications team. Reporting to the Marketing Supervisor, you will ensure the brand image and visual quality of Toromont Cat.

    You will act as a graphic designer within the creative team. You will develop and design Toromont Cat's visual elements with other team members. You will assist the team in designing presentations, social media content, newsletter mock-ups, websites and print materials. You will create engaging, inspiring visual communications that position Toromont as an industry leader.

    You have a strong digital creative orientation, with an eye for design trends and technology to differentiate Toromont Cat from its competitors and can work on multiple projects in parallel for different clients, we want you on our team

    Description

  • Participate in the creation and updating of all marketing materials;
  • Create engaging visual content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram and Linkedin) with motion design or static images;
  • Create web and mobile banners (animated and static);
  • Design visual layouts, with an emphasis on responsive and mobile design;
  • Create landing pages, using design to optimize user journeys to conversions;
  • Create eblast templates and design newsletters;
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively to build strong relationships with project team members;
  • Think about design from a UI/UX perspective and follow guidelines for optimal user experience;
  • Work collaboratively with agencies, other designers, freelancers, the internal web team and the internal creative team (writers and graphic designers) to deploy marketing projects;
  • Participate in the strategy and implementation of marketing plans that position Toromont as an industry leader and emphasize a clear, differentiating and evocative positioning for the client;
  • Act as a brand steward, ensuring compliance with Toromont Cat and divisional graphic platform standards across all touch points.

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or D.E.C. in design or any other relevant disciplines/experiences;
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in graphic design using the Adobe suite such as After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
  • A minimum of 5 years programming experience with the following technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.
  • Familiarity with common multimedia software to develop/compose/edit short videos and audio files;
  • Possess experience working with a multidisciplinary team;
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines;
  • Demonstrate flexibility;
  • Understanding of the brand, brand standards and how to apply them to all media;
  • Be highly creative, curious, thorough, organized, meticulous and resourceful;
  • Be passionate about creation and be on the lookout for trends and innovations in the industry;
  • Demonstrate a creative vision that goes beyond established standards;
  • Team player: Positive, collaborative and an infectious spirit that works well with others;
  • Possess a strong portfolio with examples of professional work that demonstrates concept development with excellent use of typography, composition and image selection;
  • Experience in motion design would be a major asset for this position;
  • Video editing experience is an added bonus
