    Position: Registered Practical Nurse

    Department: 0A Oncology

    Role Level: CUPE (CUPE 09) - $37.409

    Status: Part Time

    Site: Credit Valley Hospital

    Shift: Days and Nights (12-hour shifts)

    Qualifications:

    • Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) or eligible for registration
    • Diploma from a recognized nursing program or equivalent
    • Preferably holds a Post-Graduate certification in Oncology Nursing
    • Completion of a physical assessment course
    • Current BCLS certification
    • Minimum 2 years of acute care experience
    • Experience in medicine, oncology, and palliative care is advantageous
    • Proficient in various patient care procedures
    • Experience in patient education
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills
    • Focused on patient-centered care and building therapeutic relationships
    • Commitment to ongoing professional growth
    • Consistent positive work ethic and attendance
