- Represent the Development Engineering Division and engineering interests at the Development Applications Review Team (DART) meetings.
- Collaborate and negotiate with customers and City specialist groups to find innovative solutions to engineering issues arising through the development approval process.
- Balance the needs of the City with the development industry to ensure infrastructure is constructed in a safe, timely and effective manner.
- Participate on task forces and committees representing the engineering aspects of development.
- Establish, interpret, and explain policies and procedures to other business units, industry, developers, and the public. Qualifications
- A degree in Engineering.
- You must have at least 4 years of relevant professional engineering experience obtained after receiving your P. Eng. Designation and a current licensure as a Professional Engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) complete with practicing status OR licensure and practicing status by the first day of work Click here for more details.

- High attention to detail with a strong team and customer focus are essential.
