Eddyfi is looking for an Applications Expert to contribute to the successful deployment of surface technologies


In this role, you will

  • Ensure the commissioning and deployment of nondestructive testing equipment at customer sites, both nationally and internationally.
  • Provide technical assistance in the field, including troubleshooting and resolving equipment and software issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex technical issues and ensure optimal customer experience.
  • Train customers on the proper use of equipment and software, providing handson training.
  • Analyze nondestructive testing data and write detailed reports presenting results, conclusions and appropriate recommendations.
  • Actively participate in the development of new product features and enhancements by providing comments and suggestions based on customer feedback and your technical expertise.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions tailored to their specific requirements.
  • Provide expert user judgement and analysis during the various stages of projects.
  • Participate in stateoftheart probe design projects while ensuring that the product is effective in reallife industrial environments;
  • Manage costs, deadlines and technical requirements related to project delivery in accordance with quality system processes and procedures.

Profile required

  • You have a bachelor's degree in engineering, a college diploma in science or a related discipline;
  • You have two to four years of relevant experience;
  • You have an advanced level of oral and written English;
  • You have knowledge of electromagnetic inspection technologies and the NDT market (an asset);
  • You have a good aptitude for solving technical problems and finding winwin solutions in a customer service context;
  • You have strong interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills;
  • You have excellent communication skills to interact with customers, train staff and collaborate with internal teams;
  • You are able to write clear and concise technical reports;
  • You have a strong ability to work to tight deadlines and manage priorities;
  • You are selfmotivated, rigorous and committed to delivering highquality work;
  • You are available for frequent national and international travel as required by the project.
